I think it is very important to have a pet at home. And it absolutely does not matter, what kind of animal it is. It can be: a cat, a dog, a hamster, a parrot or even a gold fish.

Cats and dogs are the most popular pets in many countries. People who live in flats prefer to keep cats, because there is no need to walk them every day. Cats are very compact animals, they like to lie on people’s laps and even in beds. I love cats because they are warm and fluffy. Cats let us stroke them and often purr with pleasure. For me cats are the most incredible and mystic animals.

Dogs are a man"s best friends and that is the fact. Dogs are extremely clever and understand everything you tell them. Though keeping a dog in a flat is a bit of a problem, because you need to walk it two or three times a day. And this takes some time.

Another problem is that our flats are relatively small even for not big dogs. And do not forget that dogs have a specific smell. But these are no real problems when you really love dogs. Dogs are wonderful animals. I am absolutely sure that cats and dogs have human souls.

In eastern countries cats and dogs are exotic pets. People there mostly keep birds. These birds are usually smaller than parrots. People live in tiny flats and houses and there is simply not enough room to place a big cage. As for me, I love big birds and parrots.

Another reason for keeping birds is that cities in eastern countries are overpopulated, so there are not enough parks and squares. And do not forget, that Asian people can use cats and dogs as food!

Personally I do not understand when people keep small fishes. What is the point in all this? Fish do not speak. You cannot touch it. Well there are big beautiful fishes that are at least pleasant to look at. Keeping fish is a very difficult and money demanding process. Without paying all the necessary attention to your fish they can soon die.

People usually keep hamsters, rabbits, rats and mice to teach their children to communicate with animals. Besides, these animals are rather easy to look after. These animals are funny, but all they do is eating and multiplying.

It is very interesting when somebody has exotic pets, such as spiders, cockroaches, snakes and frogs. But one has got to be a real professional. Otherwise the animals will die or do harm to somebody. I would choose to keep frogs. I think them really nice. And some frogs have beautiful voices.

So, you can choose any pet. But you just must love it! I cannot understand how people can live without pets.

As far as I know, there are a lot of people who love animals. And many of them keep animals at home. These animals we call pets. You may have a dog, a cat, a hamster, a parrot, a fish etc. The most popular pets are cats and dogs. Dogs can be good friends to lonely people, cats can cure some illnesses and bad mood. A cat is good for a small flat, and if you live in a big flat or a house you can keep a dog. It’s much simpler to have a cat though because you don’t have to walk it every day.

People also keep hamsters, rats, mice and rabbits. These animals are rather easy to look after, but all they do is eat. Some people love birds like parrots, for example. I love them too, but there is no space for them in my flat. I really don’t understand the idea of fish as a pet too. I just don’t see the point in it. You cannot touch it or play with it. Besides keeping fish is rather difficult and expensive.

I am a cat person. I always dreamed of having a cat when I was small, but my parents adored our dog, Ben. Right now I have a cat at home. My cat’s name is Tigra. I rescued her from the street. She is 7 years old, but she is rather small and looks like a teenager cat. Tigra has very beautiful yellow eyes and when it is dark in the room they shine. She likes to play with her toys and to sleep on the balcony, but most of all she likes to purr. Every evening she sits on my knees and purrs. Her purr is like a lullaby. Some cats walk outdoors. My cat hates that. When I take her to the vet clinic for a checkup she is terrified and scratches me and meows like crazy. Tigra likes drinking cream and eating salmon.

If you want a good company or loyal friend you should have a pet.

Насколько я знаю, есть много людей, которые любят животных. И многие из них держат животных дома. Этих животных мы называем домашними животными. У вас может быть собака, кошка, хомяк, попугай, рыбка и т.д. Самые популярные домашние животные — это кошки и собаки.Собаки могут быть хорошими друзьями одиноких людей, кошки могут лечить болезни и плохое настроение. Кошка подойдет для маленькой квартиры, а если вы живете в большой квартире или доме, то можете держать собаку. Гораздо проще все же завести кошку, потому что вам не нужно выгуливать ее каждый день.

Люди также держат хомяков, крыс, мышей и кроликов. За этими животными довольно легко ухаживать, но все, что они делают, это едят. Некоторые любят птиц, таких как попугаи. Я люблю попугаев тоже, но в моей квартире нет места для них. Я правда не понимаю идею рыбки в качестве домашнего животного. Я просто не вижу в этом смысла. Вы не можете потрогать ее и поиграть с ней. Кроме того, держать рыбку довольно сложно и дорого.

Я кошатник. Всегда мечтала завести кошку, когда была маленькой, но мои родители обожали нашего пса Бена. Сейчас у меня дома кошка. Ее зовут Тигра. Я спасла ее с улицы. Ей 7 лет, но она довольно маленькая и выглядит как подросток. У Тигры очень красивые желтые глаза, и когда в комнате темно, они сияют. Ей нравится играть со своими игрушками и спать на балконе, но больше всего ей нравится мурчать. Каждый вечер она сидит на коленях и мурчит. Ее мурчание похоже на колыбельну. Некоторые кошки выходят на улицу. А моя кошка ненавидит это. Когда я отвожу ее в ветеринарную клинику для проверки, она просто в ужасе, царапает меня и мяукает, как сумасшедшая. Тигра любит пить сливки и есть лосось.

Если вы хотите хорошую компанию или верного друга, то вам стоит завести домашнего питомца.

Most people are divided into two groups. Those who have pets and those who dream about them. Dogs, cats, rats, fish, Guiney pigs and many other animals can now be pets. They are different and require a special care, but all of them love you and become your lifelong friends.

Dogs are funny and faithful. Most of them are very active, so you won’t get bored. Cats are sensitive, but a little bit selfish. They are the animals that love comfort and sleep. Cats will hardly go for a walk with you and get dirty in the first puddle they see.

However, cats and dogs are considered to be ordinary pets now, because many people get themselves exotic pets. They may be snakes, huge snails, raccoons and even lemurs! It is so exciting to have one of these animals at home.

But these modern pets create more problems than an ordinary dog or a cat. They are wilder and their behaviour is unpredictable. For example, raccoons tend to be naughty and usually steal or damage things. Furthermore, exotic animals won’t eat dog or cat food which can easily be bought in any supermarket.

If you want a snake, be ready to buy mice and feed them to your favourite pet. Not everyone has the courage to do it! So you should think twice before getting an exotic pet. Read carefully the information about how to care about it.

Anyway, a pet is always a good idea. Pets make you feel better and give you much love! But don’t forget to love them, too.

Но эти современные питомцы создают больше проблем, чем обычная собака или кот. Они более дикие и их поведение непредсказуемо. Например, еноты склонны к озорству и обычно воруют или портят вещи. Более того, экзотические животные не станут есть собачий или кошачий корм, который легко можно приобрести в любом супермаркете.

Если вы хотите змею, будьте готовы к тому, что нужно будет купить мышей и кормить ими любимого питомца. Не каждый отважится на такое! Поэтому следует подумать дважды, прежде чем заводить экзотическое животное. Внимательно прочитайте информацию о том, как за ним ухаживать.
